CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) is proud to announce that the CGI Service Centre in Bridgend, Wales, has been awarded Shared Service Centre of the Year at this year’s National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards. The NOA Awards recognise best practice in outsourcing projects, and reward end-users, suppliers, advisors and service destinations. CGI was selected for its vision and strategy, best practice and governance, innovation and benefits to clients.

The CGI service centre consists of the service desk, IT infrastructure library® (ITIL®) functions and technical support services, employs over 800 people and supports more than 180 clients ranging from public sector organisations to leading UK multinational companies.

"We have continued to deliver excellent customer service over the last year and it is brilliant to see the contribution of our members celebrated publically in this way, further building on our Five Star status."

CGI received the accolade at a gala event held at London’s Landmark Hotel on the 19th November. This is the second award for CGI’s Bridgend team in 2015. In May CGI’s Global Infrastructure Shared Service Team was awarded Best Shared Service Team at this year’s National Outsourcing Association Professional Awards.
