CGI sponsors five athletes competing at the Commonwealth Games Gold Coast 2018

CGI is proud to announce that we have five sponsored athletes competing at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Molly Kingsbury, Team England, Long Jump. Supported through SportsAid since 2015.
Molly came 4th in the U18 T35/38 long jump at the World Para Athletics Junior Championships. This is Molly’s Commonwealth Games debut.

Erin Wallace, Team Scotland, Mixed Triathlon. Supported through SportsAid since 2017.
Erin won gold at the Bahamas 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games last summer. This will be her Commonwealth Games debut.

Kelsey Stewart, Team Scotland, 4 x 400m. Supported through SportsAid in 2016.
Kelsey competes in both the 400m and 4 x 400m relay. Last year she became the 400m Scottish Champion.

Rhys Jones, Team Wales, 100m. Supported through SportsAid since 2017.
This will be his second Commonwealth Games Rhys competes in as he competed at Glasgow 2014. Rhys also competed at the Rio Olympics and World Para-athletics Championships in London last summer.

Laura Halford, Team Wales, Rhythmic Gymnastics. Elite sponsored athlete.
Laura represented Wales at the 2014 Commonwealth Games winning three medals; one silver and two bronze. She is three times senior British Champion (2013, 2014 and 2015), and two times Junior British Champion.

SportsAid helps the next generation of British sports stars by giving them financial support and recognition during the critical early stages of their careers.
