Be part of something exciting and join CGI as a Service Director responsible for delivery excellence in the running of a key central government engagement, running application management services, driving and leading a strong team and ensuring a close working relationship with key stakeholders onsite.
Due to the secure nature of this role all candidates must minimally hold UK Security Clearance and preferably be eligible to undergo enhanced UK Security clearance.
The role would suit someone based in the South who can regularly travel between sites in London, Bristol and South Wales.

Your future duties and responsibilities

CGI provide ITIL, Infrastructure and Application Management Services to our client with a view to ensuring efficient service and project delivery, including a large mix of business applications – bespoke, COTS and hybrid. The Service Director is accountable for the application management services and service delivery, ensuring a close working relationship with key stakeholders to enable that delivery and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met. This Director would regularly attend service/customer meetings, carry out customer satisfaction exercises and work with other service delivery managers to provide positive end-to-end delivery.
Commercial responsibilities such as achieving revenue, operating a P&L and supporting business development activities are important, as is leading and driving a team and effective resource management to deliver the change of work. The Director will furthermore promote visibility of CGI expertise, lead continuous innovation of the technology and provide oversight on strategic projects as required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

The successful candidate will offer a proven track record in Service Delivery background at senior/leadership level, expertise with ITIL, be highly-personable and offer a demonstrable history of leadership on complex client engagements. This should include expertise working hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders, able to juggle multiple sets of priorities with a positive and pragmatic attitude.
The Service Director must offer expertise of owning and running a P&L, running significant team sizes and have genuinely led initiatives to drive and develop their own teams.
A flair for change and innovation is preferred, as is previous experience working in the Secure government space.
