CGI is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s prestigious Herald Higher Education Awards. With a broad spectrum of categories, the awards touch on all key aspects of higher education – helping to build future excellence by facilitating the sharing of good practice. The awards also reward the work institutions do to recruit talented students from more disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as those doing important work to support equality and diversity. A key aim of the awards is to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individual students and staff from colleges and universities.
CGI is honoured to sponsor the Higher Educational Institution of the Year category. This category recognises a college or university that has demonstrated exceptional performance in the past academic year. The category is open to all higher education institutions in Scotland. In particular, the institution’s teaching, research and business performance will be taken into consideration. Judges will be looking for evidence of creative and innovative projects which have enhanced its reputation.
This award will be decided by the judging panel based on submissions within other categories and the institutions’ overall performance. CGI’s Alex Mogull will attend the judging session on Thursday 2 May in Glasgow, prior to the awards night.
The awards presentation will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow on Wednesday 5 June and will be hosted by television and radio presenter, Bryan Burnett. CGI in Scotland is attending the event to present the award for Higher Educational Institution of the Year.
