Michael leads the Central Government business unit for CGI in the UK. His vision is for CGI to be recognised by UK Government as a world class end-to-end IT and business consulting services provider, helping them to succeed in delivering their ambition and strategy of critical, citizen-centric services - using the power of technology to improve the lives and security of UK citizens.

Michael studied Politics at Reading University and then completed an MA in International Relations at King’s College London. He started his career at the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and then held a number of positions at ICL and Fujitsu. Michael has spent the entirety of his twenty year career either working in, or serving, the UK public sector.

Within CGI, Michael has held a number of Account Director and Sector Director positions within the UK Public Sector Business Unit. Prior to his current role, he was Vice President for the Health and Justice sectors.
