CGI’s Gabrielle Corria wins Rising Star accolade at the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards 2017London, UK, 10 February 2017 -
CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) announces today that Gabrielle Corria, Recruitment Lead for South Wales at CGI, has been awarded the 2017 Rising Star award at the seventh annual FDM everywoman in Technology Awards. The Rising Star award is presented to a woman aged under 26 who is excelling in a career in technology.
Gabrielle has been part of the team at CGI since 2007, and is responsible for sourcing local talent and managing the full recruitment cycle for South Wales. Gabrielle is passionate about increasing the number of young women pursuing careers in technology and is working closely with Careers Wales to give visibility to the various career opportunities within CGI.
Gabrielle Corria, said: “It is a great honour to be recognised with such a prestigious award - this would simply have not been possible without the support of my team. I hope this award will encourage and motivate others, in particular young women, to have the determination to develop successful careers within IT.”

The 2017 everywoman in Technology Award ceremony and dinner took place 9 February 2017 at the London Hilton on Park Lane following the everywoman Technology forum. The forum is the largest in the UK for women who are aspiring to advance their careers and become future leaders.
